This article presents the experience of an outreach project aimed at female administrative staff at a logistics company based in the city of Posadas, Misiones. The objective was to provide up-to-date, reliable information on breast cancer, promote healthy habits, and facilitate early detection. The workshop was structured into three modules: basic knowledge about the disease, early detection, and healthy lifestyle habits. To achieve these objectives, a participatory methodology was selected, combining theoretical presentations, practical demonstrations, and group activities, with an emphasis on self-examination as a self-care tool.
Following the workshop, a survey was conducted via Google Forms, revealing that 80% of the women had increased their knowledge of the subject. This initiative aligns with recommendations from various health organizations and seeks to raise awareness regarding breast health.
